10 super rare and incredibly expensive sneakers

Today I would like to introduce you to a few really rare and now quite expensive sneakers:

70s: Adidas Amsterdam, Made in West Germany

In the 70s and 80s, Adidas released the so-called city series. A sneaker was created for almost every major city in the world. The Amsterdam is something of a "holy grail" of this series and is really hard to come by. Approximate market price depending on condition: 300-750 euros.

1992: Adidas Radical X-29

At the beginning of the 90s, designers at Adidas experimented with valves and air chambers in the soles, similar to car tires. They built various prototypes based on the torsion or equipment models. One of these models was the Radical X-29, of which 500 pairs were released. This shoe is practically impossible to get and if you can, it is only in a completely porous condition. Estimated market price depending on condition: approx. 400-3000 euros.

1985: Nike Air Jordan 1

Probably the most famous and legendary sneaker of all time and the beginning of a new era in the area of ​​signature series: The Nike Air Jordan 1 . Especially in recent years, the prices for real Jordan 1s have exploded. Estimated market price depending on condition: approx. 1,500-80,000 euros.

2008: Adidas Micropacer Hamper

The first retro shoe in our series: The 2008 new edition of the legendary Micropacer from 1984. The "Hamper" came with a 4.5 kg accessory box. Estimated market price depending on condition: approx. 800-2500 euros.

2018: Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Union Los Angeles

As I said, the Jordan 1 is one of the most sought-after sneakers of all time. This is why it is also very popular with retros/collaborations with designers/labels. This edition, together with Union, is one of the most expensive models. Estimated market price depending on condition: approx. 800-3000 euros.

2005: Adidas Superstar 35th Anniversary "Top Secret"

In 2004, Adidas released a series of 35 different Superstar models to celebrate the 35th birthday of the legendary superstars. But there was still a 36th model, which was not sold but was raffled off to (of course) 35 lucky people via a "Golden Ticket". The shoes came with a massive suitcase with various accessories.
